City of Gainesville recently issued the following announcement.
Davis Street between Grove Street and the Midland Greenway Trail is closed to traffic now through Friday, March 18, to allow for work by the Gainesville Department of Water Resources.
Work completed will be part of "The Wye" project at the Midland Greenway near downtown Gainesville.
Those navigating the area are urged to drive carefully, and watch for construction workers and equipment during this time.
