3.6% of Hall County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Hall County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.6% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 3,630 people out of the 201,703 living in Hall County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Hall County has increased compared to the 3.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Hall County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.5%.

Of the 97,579 people who had a job during that time, 195 were employed in the Armed Forces and 97,384 belonged to the civilian labor force.
