The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2025 Healthy Hall Awards at Lanier Technical College, marking the event's eighth year. Mary S. Martin from Northeast Georgia Health System received recognition for Healthcare Education. "As Chief Nursing Informatics Officer... Martin led the successful implementation of Epic," highlighting her contributions over a 45-year career.
The Hub at Gainesville City Schools was awarded for Outstanding Achievement in Behavioral Health. It provides mental health support and resources like a clothing boutique and food pantry for students and families.
Laura Van Hook from Northside Hospital Diagnostic Clinic and Jonathan Nix from Dermatology Associates of Northeast Georgia were named Advanced Practice Providers of the Year for their dedication to patient care.
