The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2025 Healthy Hall Awards at Lanier Technical College, marking the event's eighth year. The awards honor healthcare professionals and organizations making significant contributions to health and wellness in the community. The event was supported by Northside Hospital Diagnostic Clinic, Northeast Georgia Health System, and Longstreet Clinic, with Dr. T. Sloane Guy from Northeast Georgia Health System delivering the keynote address.

Mary S. Martin from Northeast Georgia Health System received recognition for Healthcare Education. "As Chief Nursing Informatics Officer... Martin led the successful implementation of Epic," highlighting her contributions over a 45-year career.

The Hub at Gainesville City Schools was awarded for Outstanding Achievement in Behavioral Health. It provides mental health support and resources like a clothing boutique and food pantry for students and families.

Laura Van Hook from Northside Hospital Diagnostic Clinic and Jonathan Nix from Dermatology Associates of Northeast Georgia were named Advanced Practice Providers of the Year for their dedication to patient care.

Todd Britt of Sosebee & Britt Orthodontics earned Dentist of the Year honors, while Christy Payne from Longstreet Clinic was recognized as Healthcare Worker of the Year for her leadership roles in various initiatives.

D’Anna Cain and Marcy Adams were acknowledged as Nurses of the Year for their exceptional patient care at Longstreet Clinic and Northside Hospital Diagnostic Clinic, respectively.

Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s Green Tower won Community Impact accolades for its expanded heart care services, while Alan Edwards from Good News Clinics was also honored in this category for his long-standing service as a pharmacist.

Northside Hospital Diagnostic Clinic received Corporate Achievement/Innovation recognition for its impact on local healthcare needs over 72 years.

Margaret Alisa Davis, Ron Lewis, MD, Chad Copper, MD were highlighted as Physicians of the Year for their compassionate care and contributions to medical advancements in Gainesville.

Jack McGuire was celebrated as Visionary Leader for his work improving women's health services over five decades. Carol Burrell received Lifetime Achievement honors for her leadership at Northeast Georgia Health System since 1999.

These awards underscore ongoing efforts by individuals and organizations to enhance healthcare quality in Hall County through innovative programs provided by the Chamber’s Health & Wellness Projects.
