County of Hall issued the following announcement on November 16.
This is a reminder that Hall County’s administrative offices, libraries, courts, recycling center and community centers will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The landfill will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but will be open on Friday. Compactor sites will remain open throughout Thursday and Friday.
The Hall County Animal Shelter will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 but will reopen Saturday, Nov. 27.
Essential public safety and public works personnel will continue service as usual during the holiday.
As a reminder, many services are available online, including the renewal of vehicle tags, payment of taxes, and more.
