On March 14, 2025, Rep. Clyde expressed his opinion on judicial matters by stating that "Congress must also join the fight by IMPEACHING rogue, activist judges." He addressed this message to the White House Press Secretary.
Two days later, on March 16, 2025, he extended his support to fellow Congressman Brandon Gill in their shared endeavor against activist judges. He stated: "Let’s go, @RepBrandonGill! I fully support your efforts, and I’m glad to have you in the fight to impeach activist judges." This was shared publicly via his social media account.
Later that same day, Clyde questioned President Joe Biden's immigration policies compared to those of former President Donald Trump. He posted: "Let me get this straight… Joe Biden could blatantly violate our immigration laws to flood our country with criminal illegal aliens—but President Trump can’t deport them?" This tweet highlighted his concerns regarding current immigration enforcement.
