Rep. Andrew Clyde, who serves Georgia's 9th District in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of messages expressing his stance on legislative and public safety issues. Clyde, born in Walkerton, Ontario, Canada, graduated from notable universities and has served in Congress since 2021.
On March 26, 2025, Rep. Clyde commented, "Disappointing is an understatement—but this isn’t the end. I’ll be leading the fight to DEFUND this unconstitutional Biden-era rule. Stay tuned."
The following morning on March 27, he posted, "BREAKING: Early this morning, the Trump Administration arrested a top MS-13 leader in Virginia. THANK YOU, @POTUS, @AGPamBondi, @FBIDirectorKash, and @RealTomHoman for keeping Americans safe!"
Later the same day, Clyde announced the reintroduction of a legislative proposal in a tweet: "Today I reintroduced the SHORT Act to remove SBRs, SBSs, and AOWs from the draconian NFA. This solution ensures Americans are not subjected to unconstitutional restrictions, taxation, and registration of firearms and pistol braces. I’ll never stop fighting to protect 2A rights."
