Rep. Andrew Clyde, currently serving Georgia's 9th district in the U.S. Congress, has expressed his views on judicial powers and their implications for presidential authority through a series of tweets. Clyde, who succeeded Doug Collins in 2021, has been vocal about the role of Congress and judges within the constitutional framework.

On March 18, 2025, Clyde emphasized the importance of congressional power in impeachment matters. He stated: "Respectfully, it’s up to Congress to decide. Our Founders gave Congress the constitutional power of impeachment for a reason. If any judge can weaponize their power to usurp the President’s legitimate Article II authority, then we no longer have a Constitutional Republic."

Continuing his discourse on March 19, 2025, Clyde addressed what he perceives as obstruction by judges against former President Trump’s policies. He remarked: "Activist judges are attempting to obstruct President Trump’s agenda and defy the will of the American people. It’s the Left’s latest form of lawfare. And it’s up to Congress to stop it."

Later that day, Clyde reiterated his support for Trump as Commander-in-Chief while dismissing opposition from judicial figures with differing political views: "President Trump is the Commander-in-Chief. Not a liberal, activist judge."
